We've now completed Stages 1, 2 & 3 of The Skills Bill programme which targeted employers and education and training providers to define and locate the skills gap.
During Stage 1, we held a number of forums to find out exactly what you as employers felt were the skills needs across the financial services industry, now and over the next five years and beyond.
Reports detailing the findings from these two stages represent the most comprehensive research undertaken by the FSSC to date.
They are available to download now.
Stage 2 looked at the education and training provision available to the financial services industry, both publicly and privately.
Hard copies are available priced at £50 each. To purchase a copy of the Stage 1 & 2 reports, please email skillsbill@fssc.org.uk
Stage 3: Assessing the gaps and weaknesses
Stage 3 highlights the skills priorities for the sector and examines the potential solutions.
The Skills Bill programme also identified areas of supporting research which will inform the development of the SSA:
- Graduate Skills and Recruitment in the City
- UK Financial Services: Five Years Forward
- Financial Services Clusters – identifying regional concentration of financial services activity - coming soon
