Careers in Financial Services

The Financial Services Skills Council has launched “We’re in the money business”, a lively interactive website designed to help 14–19-year-olds find out about careers in financial services.

This new website puts the spotlight on careers in banks and building societies, credit and finance, insurance and risk, financial advice and wealth management and back office roles. It features an online game, where users can test their financial know-how as a money tree farmer, and case studies of people working in different areas of the financial services industry in Wales. 

 Although the site is aimed at young people in Wales, much of the information about job roles is generic and will be of interest to young people in other parts of the UK.
