Employers, training providers and learners gathered to celebrate the first anniversary of the National Skills Academy for Financial Services this week.
David Lammy, Skills Minister joined Tony Vine-Lott, Chair of the National Skills Academy for Financial Services as well as representatives from the FSSC and the Lighthouse Group plc at Reuters to showcase the Academy’s success so far.
The Skills Academy has already helped 3,000 learners achieve their goals since its launch in May 2007 and has had a hugely positive impact on the financial services sector.
The event also provided a chance for the National Skills Academy team to reveal the employer and regulator representatives who will form its first national board.
