Working with the Financial Services Skills Council
The Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC) is an independent, employer-led organisation, established in 2004 to provide strategic leadership for education, training and skills development for financial services, accountancy and finance across the UK.
We are the link between industry, government and education. Our aim is to ensure the people in this international and diverse sector have the skills and knowledge that are essential in furthering overall industry productivity and competitiveness.
The FSSC covers eight financial services sub-sectors and accountancy across the four nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland including:

- Wholesale Banking
- Retail Banking
- Retail Insurance
- Financial Advice
- Investment and Fund Management
- Third Party Provision
- Credit, Finance and Leasing
- Accountancy
