Introduction to the FSSC Strategic PlanIn the past year the global world of finance has been turned upside down. Skills have been under the spotlight - and not always in a positive way. Employers who already see skills as vital to the success of their business are having to fight their corner to defend training spend. Employers who now realise that they need to inject new skills into their businesses can find the options confusing. |
We decided to stand up and be counted, with this statement of commitment to the industry. We strongly support those employers who see skills as a priority, and we‘d encourage employers who are less committed to get involved. In the past year we've raised our game: we've increased our portfolio to cover accountancy and finance as well as all areas of financial services; and we're pushing for extra government funding to support skills development for the industry and its workforce.
This plan sets out our aims, our principles and some examples of what you can expect to see over the next three years. Get in touch; get involved. Ensure that your people become the best possible ambassadors for our industry.
