Later Life Adviser Accreditation Scheme

If you actively give advice in the older client market and are authorised as competent to give that advice then Later Life Adviser Accreditation (LLAA) can offer you recognition for your knowledge and advice skills.

As well as the benefits LLAA brings to individual advisers, it also provides peace of mind for older consumers, their families and their carers as they can easily identify LLAA accredited advisers as appropriately qualified market practitioners.

Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA)

Since the FSSC launched its Later Life Adviser Accreditation (LLAA) scheme, a new organisation, the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA), has been formed to provide and promote comprehensive financial advice for older people, their families and their careers.

The society assists consumers with finding quality and trusted financial advisers who work within the older client market and promotes the benefits of working with a financial adviser who has achieved LLAA.

From 1 October 2009 the FSSC Later Life Adviser Accreditation Scheme came under the ownership of the SOLLA and the FSP will continue to support this important accreditation scheme by providing its endorsement.

A representative of the FSP will also chair the accreditation panel and the FSP will audit the scheme's standards to ensure quality is maintained.
