Finance Committee
The FSSC's Finance Committee consists of Chair Gareth Marr, Director of The Red House, and committee members Brendan Nelson, Vice Chairman KPMG LLP UK, and Paul Boyle former Chief Executive, Financial Reporting Council.
Its main role and responsibilities are:
- To monitor the integrity of the financial statements of the Council, reviewing the significant financial reporting judgments and arrangements.
- To review the company's internal financial control system and risk management systems.
- To review annual financial statements before submission to the Board.
- To make recommendations to the Board in relation to the appointment of the external auditor and to approve the remuneration and terms of engagement of the external auditor.
